Rebeca & John's Fort Worth Favorites

Thing to see

SUNDANCE SQUARE PLAZA

The fountains, the mural, the pavilion, the umbrellas, the people...it's fantastic! ! Rebeca wanted to get married here, but apparently we had to many guests ;)

Thing to do

(Rebeca)

FTW BOTANIcal GARDENS

The word "gardens" doesn't do this place justice! So much beauty in one place. Definitely a must see!

(JOHN)

Modern art museum

The art in this place is fantastic, but the architecture of this museum is, by far, the greatest work of art.

Breakfast/Brunch Spot

(Rebeca)

BREWED

Hands down, the best brunch, coffee and environment in town. I could live in this place!

(JOHN)

OL' SOUTH PANCAKE HOUSE

Good home cooking awesomeness. There will probably be a wait, but it will definitely be worth it.

Lunch Spot

(Rebeca)

JOE T. GARCIA'S

(Mexican Food) As a Mexican, I must admit that this place is more about the environment than the food, but it's definitely still a Fort Worth must.

(John)

Cane rosso

(Pizza) This ain't no Papa John's, folks. You're life won't be the same once you've tried the Honey Bastard Pizza. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Dinner Spot

(rebeca)

THE WOODSHED

(BBQ-ish) Best restaurant patio in town and the food is ridiculously good. They put their own spin on some classic (and simple) dishes and it totally works.

(John)

rodeo goat

(Burgers) Definitely the most unique burger selection in Fort Worth. Open, family-style seating in a fun and eclectic environment. Good times for all!

Dessert

(Rebeca)

STEEL CITY POPS

You're never too old for some popsicles, especially when they're "gourmet popscicles." All I can really say is... freakin' delicious.

(John)

Sweet sammies

Your average ice cream sandwich...but on steroids! Pick your cookie, pick your ice cream...and BOOM! You will have a hard time finishing one sandwich.

Night Spot

(Rebeca)

THE LIVE OAK

Want to have tasty drinks (or scrumptious food) under a giant tree that's twinkling with lights, while getting a great view of the FTW skyline? VOILA! Go here!

(John)

THE Usual

This is a chill bar located on Magnolia Avenue. A welcome relief from the West 7th bar scene (i.e. crowds), The Usual offers great atmosphere & smooth drinks.

Our "favorites" barely skimmed the surface! Between the famous Fort Worth Zoo, the Historic Stockyards, the Water Gardens, tons of museums and countless other attractions, you're sure to have a great time in Cowtown!

And just in case you're feeling extra adventurous (and hungry) on our wedding weekend...

Venture over to Dallas for the
